Bicyclist killed in Lincoln crash identified
The victim of a fatal bike collision on August 17 in Lincoln has been identified by the Middlesex District Attorney’s office and Lincoln police, the DA’s office said in a statement.
Mark Himelfarb, 59, of Westford, was confirmed as the bicyclist who was hit in the crash, according to the statement.
Around 12:52 p.m. on August 17, police officers and fire department personnel responded to the area of Virginia Road for a report of a bicyclist struck by a vehicle. Himelfarb was pronounced dead at the scene, the DA’s office said.
The incident is still being actively investigated.
