Authorities investigating death of elderly Winchester woman
The Middlesex District Attorney’s office and Winchester police are investigating the death of an elderly woman, the DA’s office said in a release Sunday night.
Police responded to a Winchester home at about 2 p.m. and discovered an unresponsive woman, according to the release.
The woman was then transported to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center where she was pronounced dead, authorities said.
The DA’s office said no additional information was being released Sunday night pending family notification.
