Dorchester man arrested in fatal East Boston stabbing
A Dorchester man was arrested Friday evening and charged with the murder of a man who was fatally stabbed in East Boston earlier this week.
Boston police said 18-year-old Darius Barry was taken into custody around 9:45 p.m. and will be charged in East Boston Court.
Officers found 23-year-old East Boston resident Gage Smith suffering from a stab wound just before 7 a.m. on Wednesday near 214 Paris Street. He was later pronounced dead at an area hospital.
Police said the incident remains under investigation.
