Three people hit by car near Freedom Trail in downtown Boston
Three pedestrians were hit by a car near Boston’s Freedom Trail at the intersection of Washington Street and School Street shortly before noon Thursday.
The three pedestrians sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to a Boston police spokesperson.
Police said the driver stayed at the scene and the incident, called in at 11:58 a.m., is still under investigation.
Photos taken from witnesses at the scene Thursday show Boston police and fire department taping off the intersection, at the center of which remained a silver Mercedes-Benz sedan.
