Man dies a day after being pulled from Bridgewater pool
Bridgewater police are investigating a drowning after an unresponsive man was pulled from a private pool Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. When officials arrived at the home on Mary Lane, they found family members of the 73-year-old unresponsive man performing CPR on him, according to police.
The man was taken first to Brockton Hospital and then on a helicopter to a Boston hospital, police said. He died on Monday afternoon, according to police.
The drowning was the second in Bridgewater over the weekend. On Saturday, a 56-year-old man drowned while swimming in a pool at the apartment complex where he lived.
