Bridgewater police investigate drowning at apartment complex pool
Bridgewater police are investigating a drowning after an unresponsive man was pulled from an apartment complex swimming pool Saturday, according to police.
Police responded to Axis Apartments just after 5:45 p.m. There, they found a 56-year-old man, who lived in the complex, unresponsive after being pulled from the water, police said. A bystander was performing CPR on the man.
Officials transported the man to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead just after 6:30 p.m.
Police are continuing to investigate the drowning and have withheld the man’s name pending notification of his family.
