MBTA Transit Police looking for guy who wanted selfie inside train tunnel
MBTA Transit Police is none too pleased with a man who went into a train tunnel in order to take a selfie, sparking major delays on Wednesday night.
Transit Police is searching for information about a man who allegedly entered the Right of Way and proceeded into the tunnel at the Blue Line’s Aquarium station on Wednesday just before 8 p.m. Police responded to the scene but were unable to find the man, police said.
A preliminary investigation showed that the purpose of his trip was to take a selfie in the tunnel, police said.
His presence in the tunnel caused major delays and temporarily shut down the station on Wednesday night.
