Police searching for suspect in child rape case
Sharon police are asking for the public’s help locating a man who is wanted on several charges including rape of a child.
Police said the last known address for 29-year-old Erik William Silva was on Beach Road in Sharon. He has ties in the Norwood area, as well as out of state. He may also go by the name “Erik Almeida,” according to police.
Silva is wanted on charges of rape of a child with force, rape of a child with a 10-year age difference, and indecent assault and battery on a person 14 years old or over.
