1 dead, 1 injured in Plainville crash
A 26-year-old man died Thursday night after the vehicle he was driving struck the back of a truck in Plainville.
Officers responding to the scene on Washington Street at 9:37 p.m. found the male driver unconscious and the 15-year-old female passenger suffering from injuries, police said. The driver was transported to Sturdy Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The teen was also transported to an area hospital.
The crash is under investigation by the Norfolk District Attorney’s office, state, and local police.
