Police: Man fled from scene after crashing pickup into cranberry bog
A Middleborough man fled from first responders after crashing his pickup truck into a Carver cranberry bog Tuesday evening, according to police.
Witnesses told officers that Michael Duphily, 36, was bleeding when he left the scene of the crash near France Street, as first responders arrived around 6:11 p.m..
He was later located by authorities and transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Jordan Hospital for evaluation, police said.
The truck was removed from the bog, which was extensively damaged, according to police. The crash remains under investigation.
