Authorities seeking help to identify woman’s remains found in Everett
Authorities are asking the public’s help to identify a woman whose skull was found earlier this month on National Grid property in Everett.
The skull was found on July 7 on Rover Street, according to the Middlesex District Attorney’s office. The results of a forensic evaluation have led authorities to believe it belonged to a woman between the ages of 26 and 52 who has been dead between one and five years. They estimate that she was between 5-foot-1 and 5-foot-9, and also found evidence of a healed nose fracture, a medical plate between the knee and ankle that indicate a former break, and both tooth loss and dental work.
In addition to the remains, a pair of size 10 Sporto boots, a long sleeve white T-shirt, and a pair of small, Cocoa vintage black fleece sweatpants were also found at the scene, according to the DA’s office.
Police are continuing to investigate the death, which is considered suspicious. Authorities ask that anyone with information about the woman call Massachusetts State Police at 781-897-6600 or Everett police at 617-394-2367.
