1 killed in crash on I-495 in Milford
State police are investigating an early morning crash in Milford that resulted in the death of a driver and seriously injured a passenger.
Troopers responded to the scene of the crash on I-495 south around 3:30 a.m. Thursday where police said, for reasons still under investigation, a single vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway before Exit 19 and crashed into the wood line.
The driver of the vehicle, a 20-year-old Ohio man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger in the vehicle, a 22-year-old man also from Ohio, was transported to UMass Medical Center in Worcester by medical helicopter for treatment of serious injuries, according to police.
