Woman killed, two minors seriously injured in North Andover crash
A 35-year-old woman was killed and the two minors in her vehicle were seriously injured Tuesday evening in a head-on crash in North Andover, according to authorities.
North Andover police said officers responded to the crash involving a Honda Accord and Chevrolet Silverado in the area of 1600 Great Pond Road around 5:25 p.m. The driver of the Honda, Jennifer Morse, of North Andover, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her two passengers were transported to Lawrence General Hospital for treatment of serious injuries and later taken to Tufts Medical Center.
The driver of the Chevrolet also suffered serious injuries and was taken to Lawrence General, according to authorities.
Police said during the initial investigation, witnesses reported the Honda had been “operating erratically” before the crash. But no charges have been filed at this time, and the crash remains under investigation, according to police.
