Pedestrian struck, killed on I-495
are investigating the death of a man who was struck by a car and killed on Interstate 495 in Franklin early Sunday morning.
The 41-year-old Franklin man, Anthony Santucci, was in the center lane of the I-495 south around 12:22 a.m. when a car traveling in the same lane struck him, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car’s driver, a 32-year-old Cumberland, Rhode Island woman, stayed at the scene, police said. The crash remains under investigation.
