Photographer wants to identify kids pictured with Muhammad Ali in 1977

Marlena Richardson hopes the public can help her identify the children in the photos.
Were you at the Elma Lewis School for Fine Arts when boxing legend Muhammad Ali visited on January 29, 1977?
A woman who took pictures during Ali’s visit to the Roxbury school wants to identify the children she captured sitting with The Greatest, The Boston Globe reports.
Marlena Richardson, 71, who was a school volunteer at the time, told the Globe she found the three snapshots she took in her home just after learning of Ali’s death earlier this month. She said she hopes the public can help identify the three children she photographed so she can give them the photos.
“It would mean so much to me,” she told the Globe. “I think [the children] would be proud and happy and feel like the circle remains unbroken, that finally they got these. And maybe it’ll bring a tear and a smile to their faces.”
