Adam Keally was inside Istanbul Ataturk Airport during the terror attack and recounted his experience.

“They had cuts and people were very badly injured,” said Keally. “One guy had holes in his back from shrapnel or from glass.”

Turkish officials said they believed Islamic State extremists are responsible for the attack, which involved explosives and guns, reports the Associated Press. Keally said he ran from the building.

“People were shooting from one side and we all ran the other way and then the bombs went off and people started running the other way and there was more shooting and we came out,” Keally said.
