Boston’s two outdoor pools and a family-friendly beach are opening for the season.
Clougherty Pool in Charlestown and Mirabella Pool in the North End, operated by the Boston Centers for Youth & Families, opens June 18. The city’s family-friendly beach at the Curley Community Center in South Boston will also open that day.
The outdoor pools will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Labor Day. The beach will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends.
All three swimming areas will have experienced, certified lifeguards on duty.
The city also has 15 indoor pools that are open year round.
