Car fire snarls traffic on Mass. Pike
Several incidents on Boston-area roadways are contributing to a challenging Monday morning commute.
North of Boston, a crash is slowing traffic on I-93 southbound in Wilmington.

A crash on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Framingham is affecting Boston-bound commuters.

And an earlier car fire on the Pike forced police to close several westbound lanes. Travel was reduced to one lane as firefighters went to work on the engulfed vehicle.

The fire, near exit 17 in Newton, had traffic snarled all the way back to the Allston-Brighton tolls.
