Police searching for missing 13-year-old girl last seen at library
Police are searching for a 13-year-old Maine girl who was last seen leaving a public library.
Police say Khaitlynn Prosser, 13, left the Ellsworth Public Library just before 7 p.m. on Wednesday night and has not been seen since. Police have located a video of Khaitlynn getting into a car on Water Street in Ellsworth and are working to enhance the video so it can be released to the public.
Police posted photos of the car, a Hyundai Sonata, which they say she got into at 7:09 p.m., on the department’s Facebook page. The photos are shown below.
Khaitlynn was wearing a T-shirt of an unknown color, skinny jeans, and pink Converse low-top sneakers. She’s 5-feet-6 inches tall and 115 pounds. She may be wearing the white hat seen in the above photo.
Anyone with information about Khaitlynn or the driver of the car can contact Ellsworth police at 207-667-2133.
