Boston police look to ID woman accused of assaulting a child in the Public Garden
The parents of a 2-year-old girl say a woman shoved their daughter to the ground near the Make Way For Ducklings statues in Boston’s Public Garden. Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

The incident happened on April 17. According to a bulletin on the Boston police website, the child’s parents said their daughter was playing by the statues when the woman approached the girl, swore at her, then pushed her to the ground, causing a minor abrasion to the child’s ankle. The suspect then fled on foot, according to the bulletin.
The department posted images of the woman, and are asking anyone with information on her identity to call detectives at (617) 343-4248.
