Police: Dorchester man urinated on MBTA police sub-station
A Dorchester man, already wanted for arrest, was arrested Monday night, after MBTA police say he relieved himself on their station in Mattapan.
Police say officers were patrolling the Mattapan Station on Monday at about 8:30 p.m. when they found Timothy Chace urinating directly to the right of the transit police sub-station’s back door.
After apprehending the 33-year-old, police discovered Chace had outstanding arrest warrants in Dorchester District Court for probation matter related to a close assault and battery case. He was subsequently taken into custody and booked at the MBTA police headquarters.
According to the Suffolk Country District Attorney’s office, no new charges were filed for Monday’s incident. Chace appeared in court Tuesday on the previous matter and is scheduled to return June 8.
The incident Monday, however, was not his first MBTA-related run-in with the law.
In 2012, Chace was arrested after security footage allegedly showed him shoving a cash register off the counter at the McDonald’s in South Station late at night after the location had closed.
