Car crashes onto Green Line tracks, causing delays
The Green Line’s B branch experienced severe delays on Thursday afternoon after a car drove onto the tracks and into the fence near the Griggs Street stop in Allston.
The car has since been cleared, and the B branch is experiencing moderate residual delays.

The crash occurred on Thursday afternoon and impeded MBTA service along Commonwealth Avenue.
“After the motor vehicle is removed, MBTA personnel will assess the level of damage it caused,” MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo said in an email.
