Boston’s Parks Department wants your help figuring out where to plant 150 trees
Wish there was a little more green outside your front door?
The city’s Parks Department is reaching out to residents for help with finding planting sites for 150 extra trees in their spring planting cycle.
The department said it is accepting location requests for the spring cycle through June 3. If the requested sites pass the department’s requirements and inspections, the trees would be planted by July 1, according to Boston Parks Commissioner Chris Cook.
Tree planting requests can be made utilizing the BOS:311 app, webpage, or by calling 311 or the Park Line at 617-635-7275.
