Service restored on Green Line D branch after power issue
A power issue on the Green Line’s D branch caused delays and temporarily stopped trolley service to parts of the line Monday afternoon.
Full service was restored at 2 p.m., according to MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo.
Earlier in the afternoon, shuttle buses replaced service between Riverside and Reservoir stations in both directions. The issue was caused by an Eversource transformer fire, Pesaturo said.
The MBTA reported minor delays on the line around 11:30 a.m., before replacing the service with buses.
