‘Shooter threat’ closes Quinsigamond Community College
One day after closing its campus due to a bomb threat, Quinsigamond Community College has again told its students to leave the campus.
The Worcester college issued an alert at 8:47 a.m., reading “Please leave the W. Boylston St main campus in an orderly fashion at this time. The college is closed until further notice.”
A later alert, posted at 10:16 a.m., attributed the closing to “a shooter threat on the main campus.”
State troopers were on campus Thursday to assist college police with the investigation, according to state police spokesman David Procopio.
