Two cows die after getting hit by alleged drunk driver
Two cows were killed Wednesday after getting struck by two different cars on I-195 in Dartmouth, The Boston Globe reports.
Three cows escaped from a hole in the fence of a Dartmouth farm, state police told the Globe. After the crash, one cow died at the scene, and another later died from injuries. No drivers were injured in the incident, police said, but a female driver was arrested and charged with negligent driving and operation while under the influence of liquor, the Globe reported.
The third cow still remains at large.
