Malden Police searching for suspect in attempted abduction of student
Malden Police are searching for the driver of a gray vehicle who police say attempted to abduct a high school student Wednesday morning.
Police Captain Marc Gatcomb told Boston.com that the driver, described as a white male, approached a male student who was on his way to Malden High School at about 9:40 a.m. The suspect exited the car and approached the student, Gatcomb said.
The student fled the scene and escaped uninjured, said Gatcomb.
Police also posted an image of the suspect’s vehicle, believed to be a Mitsubishi Lancer.
