‘Severe’ delays on MBTA’s Red Line
A switch problem at the MBTA’s Alewife station is causing severe delays in both directions, according to the MBTA.

The affected Red Line stops include: Alewife, Davis, Porter, Harvard, Central, Kendall/MIT, Charles/MGH, and Park Street, according the T.
Riders are being advised that they can use alternate Commuter Rail service at Braintree, Quincy Center, and JFK/UMass.
