Massachusetts man, 20, dies after falling from roof in Delaware
NEWARK, Del. (AP) — A 20-year-old Massachusetts man has died after falling from the roof of a three-story home in Newark.
Newark police spokesman Sgt. Gerald J. Bryda tells the News Journal of Wilmington that the unidentified man died at a hospital after police responded to the incident Saturday afternoon and found him unresponsive.
New Castle County Paramedics had transported the man to Christiana Hospital. He was described as being in critical condition.
The incident occurred at a residence where University of Delaware fraternity members live. Bryda says that the man was not a student of the university.
The Newark Police Department is investigating the issue. Anyone with information is being asked to contact authorities.
