A local restaurant owner was feeling the Bern when Bernie Sanders’ staff posted her hand-written note on social media this week.

When Sanders made a pit stop near her restaurant in Boston before his rally at the University of Massachusetts Amherst Monday night, Bessie King, co-owner of Villa Mexico Cafe, sprang into action, reports The Boston Globe.

King wrote a quick note of support, grabbed a bag of chips and salsa, and dashed down the street to deliver it to Sanders’ team.

The note, posted on Sanders’ Instagram account, has more than 56,000 likes.
