How much does a deepwater dock in the waters of Nantucket cost? A cool $4.75 million, reports The Boston Globe.

Someone just paid $4.75 million for a dock in the harbor and, though the buyer hasn’t been named, it appears to be Eric Schmidt, executive chairman of Google parent company Alphabet, reports the Globe.

It’s one of just three deepwater slips in the harbor of the picture-perfect whaling wharf and it’s long enough to dock a 156-foot yacht. It also comes with a parking space.

“You can see how demand would be quite high,’’ Jen Shalley, an agent with Nantucket-based Fisher Real Estate who brokered the deal, told the Globe. “It’s such a rarity. There were multiple interested parties.’’
