‘Armed and dangerous’ suspect arrested in Dorchester
Boston police apprehended an “armed and dangerous’’ suspect in Dorchester on Wednesday, according to authorities.
Dejahn Harrison, 27, was apprehended near Pleasant Hill Avenue while under surveillance, according to a statement by Boston police. The investigation was conducted by the Boston police fugitive unit, U.S. Marshals, and Massachusetts State Police.
Harrison was wanted for several firearm warrants, according to authorities, and charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. A statement from Boston police said Harrison had a “lengthy, violent past.’’
He was released to the custody of U.S. deputy marshals to be transported to federal court, according to Boston police.
