Police identify victim in fatal Dorchester shooting
Police have identified the victim in Wednesday morning’s fatal shooting in Dorchester, according to a statement by Boston police.
Alvin Sealey, 19, of Dorchester, was found around 1:40 a.m suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting took place near the intersection of Washington Street and Dunbar Avenue, according to police. Police told The Boston Globe they believe the “victim was clearly targeted.’’
There have been no arrests made at this time.
Sealy is the city’s third murder victim this year.
