Delays on the MBTA’s Red Line due to earlier issues
A piece of disabled equipment caused problems for commuters on the Red Line Thursday morning.
Passengers were bused between North Quincy and JFK/UMass Stations while crews worked to remove the track maintenance equipment, MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo told Boston.com.
That equipment has now been cleared, and Red Line service is resuming along the entire line, he said.
The Red Line is experiencing moderate residual delays, due to the earlier issue, according to an alert on the MBTA’s website.
