Expressway accident snarls southbound traffic
A multi-vehicle crash on the southbound side of the Southeast Expressway is causing major problems for Wednesday morning commuters.
The accident, near the South Bay exit in Dorchester has the right lane closed, according to the department of transportation. That has traffic backed up all the way through the O’Neill Tunnel, and delays extend on I-93-southbound as far back as Spot Pond in Stoneham, according to WBZ traffic reporter Scott Eck.
