Boston police participated in LA’s first Run to Remember
Members of the Boston Police Runner’s Club traveled to California over the weekend to participate in the Los Angeles Police Department’s first Run to Remember.
The officers were returning the favor to a police department that has supported Boston’s similar run for many years.
“Over the years, members of the LAPD have come out in great numbers to run and participate in the [Boston] event,’’ wrote the Boston Police Department in a statement.
Boston will host its 12th Run to Remember on May 29. It is a 5-mile run through downtown Boston that honors first responders killed in the line of duty.
