Elderly man dies in incident with Reading sidewalk plow
An elderly man has died after an incident involving a Town of Reading sidewalk plow, according to a statement from the town.
On Monday afternoon, Reading police responded to a call for an injured pedestrian on Lowell Street. The pedestrian was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries, according to the statement.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
A state police accident reconstruction team is investigating the accident.
