A judge called a Dorchester man’s crimes “horrific’’ and sentenced him to 15 years in prison for sex trafficking, followed by five years of supervised release, according to a statement by the United States Department of Justice.

Corey Norris, 26, also known as “Jacorey Johnson’’ or “Case,’’ pleaded guilty in September to one count each of conspiracy to sex traffic minors by force, fraud, and coercion; sex trafficking and attempted sex trafficking of a minor; sex trafficking and attempted sex trafficking by force, fraud, and coercion; transportation of a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity; and conspiracy to transport a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity.

U.S. District Court Judge Denise J. Casper described Norris’ crimes as “horrific’’ and said the victims were “targeted specifically because of their vulnerability.’’

Norris’s conspiracy charge stemmed from his longtime relationship with co-defendant Raymond Jeffreys, 27, of Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, and Portland, Maine. Noris, Jeffreys, and others engaged in a sex trafficking scheme that stretched from Maine to California between 2008 and 2014, according to the DOJ statement.

Norris was also charged for specific counts involving the sex trafficking of two 17 year-old girls. One of the girls was trafficked in the fall of 2011 in Massachusetts and Maine, as well as in Nevada and California. The other girl was trafficked in Massachusetts and Rhode Island in 2012.

“He just wants to put this behind him and move on,’’ said Thomas J. Iovieno, Norris’ lawyer.
