Teen allegedly snaps selfies on stolen iPad, posts them to iCloud
The victim of a car break-in in Wrentham Monday got a surprise when they logged on to their iCloud account — a teen had uploaded selfies from their stolen iPad.
After the victim contacted police, officers located the iPad in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, using the device’s Find My iPhone app, according to police. They then arrested the teen in the photos, 19-year-old Ralphy Olivero, at his home and charged him with possession of stolen property.
Olivero is being held by authorities for 30 days on a probation violation, police said. Wrentham police also traced the suspect’s recent pawn shop activity to a December home break-in where a Play Station was stolen.
