Boston police officers used CPR to save a 4-year-old’s life in Dorchester
When Boston police answered a call about a child in distress Saturday night, they found a 4-year-old little girl “unresponsive and not breathing,’’ according to a statement by police.
“The officers immediately began to administer CPR,’’ police said in the statement. “Which resuscitated the child’s breathing.’’
The incident happened at 8 p.m. in Dorchester. Boston Fire also responded to the call, giving the child oxygen on the scene. Boston EMTs stabilized the little girl and took her to Boston Children’s Hospital, where she was responsive, according to police.
The child’s mother told police her daughter was suffering from uncontrollable seizures.
