Globe Magazine names best new shops and services in Boston
Globe Magazine’s list of the best new shops and services is out. Featuring 36 new Boston area businesses, the list runs the gamut from boutiques and specialty shops to spas and fitness studios.
The Globe highlighted the Converse Lovejoy Wharf, a shop in the sneaker company’s waterfront headquarters that offers customized Chucks with a map of Boston or the Zakim Bridge printed on them.
I Am Books, a new North End shop that offers more than 1,000 titles — including a number of Italian children’s books and cookbooks — also made the list, as well as Pop Allston, a four-floor warehouse with an indoor skatepark, yoga studio, vintage market, and bicycle co-op.
The Globe also gave a shoutout to BikeBus, a service that offers spin classes aboard a bus for groups and individuals within a 25 miles of Boston, and bfresh, a new market store in Allston that offers high-quality groceries for affordable prices.
