Track problem causes Red Line delays
Passengers on the MBTA’s Red Line had to bused in both directions between JFK/UMass and Ashmont stations for part of the morning commute, according to the T.
A track issue at Savin Hill Station was the reason for the delay, the MBTA said.
The following stops were being serviced by shuttle buses: JFK/UMass, Savin Hill, Fields Corner, Shawmut, and Ashmont.
The T also had problems on its Fitchburg and Haverhill commuter rail lines Tuesday morning.
More information is available from the MBTA here.
