Two dogs die in Beacon Hill fire
Two dogs died from the “intense smoke’’ of a fire in a Beacon Hill apartment building on Wednesday night, according to the Boston Fire Department. A third dog survived the blaze.

The fire started at about 8 p.m. in a second-floor kitchen within the five-story, 10-unit brick building at 80 Revere St.
No humans were injured, and fire officials estimated the damage at $60,000.
