Boston police officer checked after rescuing two men in the water
A Boston police officer rescued two men who fell into the water near Broadway Bridge in South Boston Wednesday morning.
A police spokesperson told Boston.com that the two unnamed men appeared to be intoxicated. They were pulled from the water and were unharmed, she said.
The spokesperson confirmed that an officer was being checked by medical professionals, but she had no information about his condition.
WBZ radio reporter Carl Stevens tweeted a photo of the officer being transported at the scene.
