Aaron Hernandez may be present in court Tuesday for a status hearing

Aaron Hernandez may be present in court Tuesday for a status hearing, according to a statement from the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office.

The case will be one of several status hearings called in Suffolk Superior Court Tuesday afternoon.

Hernandez, who was found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison for the killing of Odin Lloyd, now faces two murder charges for a 2012 drive-by shooting in Boston’s South End.

Hernandez played for the New England Patriots for three years.
