The owner of the bar Who’s On First will appear once again before the city’s Licensing Board on Friday, reports The Boston Globe.

Robert Paratore, the owner of the Yawkey Way bar, is scheduled to speak to the board following the death of 29-year-old Jephthe Chery, who was shot outside the bar on Thanksgiving day.

Paratore has appeared before the board at least eight times in the past 14 years over public safety concerns that involved assaults, shootings, and stabbings, reports the Globe.

“We’d like the Licensing Board to take a look at it and do what’s best for the community and best for police,’’ Boston Police spokeswoman Rachel McGuire told the Globe. “It’s a bit frustrating when it happens time and time again.’’
