These angry turkeys won’t leave this Cape Cod mailman alone
Some mail carriers carry dog treats on the job to befriend not-so-friendly pups, but one Cape Cod postal worker carries a long pole to ward off a gang (technically, a rafter) of aggressive turkeys.
In early December, the Cape Cod Wave posted a video of five turkeys chasing an anonymous mail carrier on his route in Falmouth.
He’s fully prepared, equipped with a pole he keeps between him and the gobbling birds throughout the entire video, which now has almost 1 million views on YouTube.
As he walks past the camera, he only says one thing, “Every day.’’
