31-year-old Worcester woman fatally stabbed
A 31-year-old woman was fatally stabbed early Wednesday morning in Worcester, according to police.
Around 4:45 a.m., police responded to an assault and battery report on Murray Avenue. When they arrived, police said they found a woman along the side of the road who was suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead, according to police.
Police have identified the victim as Cherise Hill of Worcester. Police believe she was attacked by more than one person, and are continuing to investigate the incident.
