Airline finds Marathon bombing survivor’s luggage containing $250,000 worth of prosthetic parts

American Airlines has found the luggage of Boston Marathon bombings survivor Adrianne Haslet-Davis and has apologized for the mishap, reports The Boston Globe.

The luggage contained $250,000 worth of prosthetic leg and dance parts. Haslet-Davis, a professional dancer, vented her frustration over the lost luggage Thursday on Twitter.

“We’re sorry this happened,’’ Joshua Freed, the airline’s senior manager for corporate communications, said in a statement, according to the Globe. “We will reunite her with it as soon as possible.’’
