A man in Maine was showing his gun to a potential buyer when he shot his girlfriend
A woman remains in critical condition after she was accidentally shot in the head by her boyfriend Monday afternoon in Bath, Maine, according to the Portland Press Herald.
State police said Chelsea Jones, 22, was sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle while her boyfriend, Dylan Grubbs, showed a gun to a potential buyer in the parking lot of a Shaw’s when she was shot.
State police spokesman Stephen McCausland told the Press Herald the gun sale itself does not raise any red flags, and that Grubbs, 23, of Thomaston, has been cooperating with police.
